Viparita Raj Yoga (VRY)

There are many people who utilizes the challenges and not only overcome with problems but they convert it into positive power and get benefited.You all must have heard this term Viparita Raj Yoga ,on one side the word interpreted as Rajyoga on other side its Viparita,so exactly i will try to explain how this particular Rajyoga is formed in ones Chart.
The native who has this yoga certaily achieve heights but after facing certain difficulties.

Viparita word has several meanings like opposite,false or inverted, However for our purposes, Viparita means "just the opposite" or "contrary to what is expected".
There are three types of VRY-

"Phaladeepika chapter 6 sloka 63.-If the 6th house or its lord is associated with or aspected by malefics or the lord of the 6th house occupies an evil house , Harsha Yoga is formed.One born in such a Yoga is endowed with happiness, enjoyment, good luck and a stout body. He over powers his enemies easily and is afraid to commit sinful acts. He is a friend of illustrious and prominent people. He is blessed with wealth, splendor, fame,friends and sons."

The evil houses in astrology are 6th,8th and 12th.So if the lord of the 6th house occupies 8th or 12th house or if 6th has association or aspected by the planets which owns 8th n 12th house this VRY is formed.

"Phaladeepika chapter 6 Sloka 65.- If the lord of the 8th house is posited in the 6th ,8th or the 12th house it causes Sarla Yoga. The person born in this Yoga will enjoy longevity, be resolute, fearless, prosperous,, respected and endowed with learning, children and wealth. He will be successful in all his enterprises, overcome his foes, be pure of mind and widely celebrated."

So it says that if the lord of 8th house occupies 6th or 12th house or if 8th has association or aspected by planets which owns 6th or 12th house this VRY formed.

"Phaladeepika chapter 6 sloka 69.- If the lord of thee 12th house occupies any evil house and is associated with or aspected by malefics Vimla Yoga is formed.The effects of a person's birth in such a Yoga are that he spends much less than what he earns and saves. He is good to everybody i.e. his actions are identical with the thinking of others. He is ever happy and independent and pursues a respectable profession or occupation and is well known for his merits."

RULES-
Lord of 6,8 or 12 must occupy bhava-6,bhava-8 or bhava-12 or aspected by one of these lords.

The 6th lord cannot also be the lagna lord, the 5th lord or the 9th lord,
The 8th lord cannot also be the lagna lord, the 5th lord or the 9th lord,
The 12th lord cannot also be the lagna lord, the 5th lord or the 9th lord, In the dushthana where the Viparita Raja Yoga occurs (it can occur in 6,8,or 12 ) no temporal benefic can be present in the dushthana where the yoga is set to occur ( that is the lagna lord ,the 5th ,the 9th,and the 10th )

important: VRY does not apply if the lagna lord is in the 6th, the lagna lord is in the 8th, or if the lagna lord is in the 12th.

      U have not mentioned male or female, as for marriage yoga different planets are responsible in case of male n female, further 81 born i have seen marriage issues in general i mean late marriage.
      Have u read last line important of my description. As mercury is lagna lord its not VRY.

      Mars Mahadasha is starting in November. How will it be.
      Kindly check when marriage will happen ? Love or arranged ? No Love affair currently.
      I have a doubt.Which is the Correct finger for Opal ?
      Why I asked this :- I consulted 2 astrologers for marriage both told me to wear Opal of 7+ carat as a substitute stone for Venus instead of Diamond. But the difference in them is with the finger on which the ring to be worn one told me to wear on little finger another told to wear on Index finger.
      Kindly suggest on which finger I should wear Opal little finger or Index. When I did a little search by Google I found Amitabh Bachchan and Aiswarya Rai Bachchan wore it on Index.
      But as per my natal chart on which finger should I wear Opal ?

      Yes i know mars in nakshtra ruled by Rahu, though mars is not happy in rahu's nakshtra but since rahu placed fine in 11th house, it is fine , further mars in 6th house gives good results but since mercury is there i will advice you to control ur tounge at times.u can harm more to urself than others.

      Just read ur full name, Sumit Tripathi, ST its similar like Sachine Tendulkar not that famous but still u must be doing something good n fame will come to u for sure.I m not on Fb, mercury karka for speech with mars it is ,so i said.Further in anyway when there is connection of lagna or lagna lord with L8 native should be careful , nobody will harm but himself /herself can.
      I dont advice rajsik remedies like ratna which may harm if not chosen carefully, instead perform satvik remedies for mars, read mars remedies in my other post.

    further lord of 7th house is mercury which is in 8th house with saturn delayed things, more venus is in planetary war with mars is also reason n in my opinion mars is winning the war here.As u r running under Saturn mahadasha certainly saturn will bless u , i will advice u to choose partner after proper match making , here again mercury combust n depositor in 6th house with mars so just see her nature.all d best.

    Dear Sir, D-30061981,T- 1758, place aduthurai, In my horoscope moon and mars are in 6th house, which is owned by venus, venus is in 8th house with Rahu (8th house is owned by moon), Mars, which owns 12th house is in 6th house. Do I have VRY? Can you please clarify, I am confused since the planets are with other planets in the said houses. though the conditions of VRY get met.

      Not seen ur char but with description it is Sagittarius ascendant, so mars is also lord of 5th house, as i told it should not be trine 5th lord, so mars is not making it, however venus does.if jupiter placed fine then its ok otherwise for a female native specially lord of 8th in 6th not good for married life, if u r female. ...though lord of 7th in 6th also may cause some peace disturbing for marital life, how is urs if j r married.?

    Very infromational and useful information.

    My Ascendant is Acquarius. My 6th Lord (Moon) is placed in 12th House. My 8th Lord is in 6th House. And, in my 8th House there is Dibilitated Venus and Ketu. Can you tell me if Viparita Raj Yoga is applicable to me? (Dob 18/8/1986 at 19:05 hrs at Kolkata).

    PS: I am currently under Rahu-Moon Dasha but going to marital seperation and difficulties. Does that mean Moon is not under Viparit Raj Yog?
